Obituary of Clara Barry

Clara Barry of Liberty passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Sullivan County Adult Care Center surrounded by her family. She was 94.

She was the daughter of the late Van and Grace Schloss Edwards born on March 4, 1923 in Livingston Manor.

Clara was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star Livingston Manor Chapter 298. She always made her home a welcoming place for all to come and visit. Clara’s family meant the world to her especially her grandchildren which she helped raise. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her, she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son Ronald Barry of Liberty; her daughter Jacklyn Coger of North Carolina; her grandchildren Laurie Coger, Wendy Rosenblum and her husband Matthew, Lynn Barry and his wife Pamela, Christopher Barry and Rebecca Cherry, Kimberley Wlodarczyk and her husband Gerald; her great grandchildren Ryan and Colin Rosenblum, Christopher Barry, Jordan and Mckenna Barry, Edward James Barry; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John Barry, her siblings and one grandchild Clair “Zeke” Barry.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home 275 South Main Street Liberty, NY 12754 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 10:00am Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
