Garcia, 91, of Liberty, died on Feb. 26, 2013 in at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. Maria was born on December 20, 1921 in Puerto Rico. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Schneider in New York City and she was a member of St. Peter's Church in Monticello, NY. Survivors include her son, Orlando Rivera and his wife Cathy of Long Island; a daughter, Daisy Benton and her husband Tom of Liberty, NY; a sister, Delores Garcia of Breezy Point, NY; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Bruno Martinez and Felix Louis Rivera and her brother, Cale Garcia. Friends may call on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 7 - 9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be on Saturday March 2 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
