Home: Monticello, New York USA Place of Birth: Suffern, New York USA Obituary Linda Osborne Buchta Monticello, NY Linda Osborne Buchta, 53, of Monticello, NY, passed away at her home on Tuesday December 17, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was the daughter of Vernon Osborne and Jean Ann Stokes Heck and was born on July 1, 1960 in Suffern, NY. Linda worked as a food handler for Shoprite in Monticello and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas in Forestburgh, NY. She is survived by her father, Vernon Osborne, of Monticello; her mother, Jean Ann Heck of Oklahoma; her children, Michael of South Carolina, Dwayne of Arizona and Heather of Miami, Florida, a brother, Vincent Osborne of Wellsville, NY; a stepbrother, Brian Heck of Oklahoma; sisters, Jean Gloss of Franklinville, NY, Dolores Lampman of PA, Emmy Lou Burdick of Oklahoma and Bobbie Jo Heck of PA; six grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Dominick Buchta. Friends may call on Saturday December 21, 2013 from 9 to 10 AM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 55 ST. John St. Monticello, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Forestburgh, NY. Rev. Ivan Csete will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Forestburgh, NY.
