Home: White Lake, New York USA Place of Birth: Queens, New York USA Thomas E. Warren White Like, NY Thomas E. Warren, a 45-year resident of Sullivan County, passed away suddenly on Monday February 16, 2015. He was 73 years of age. The son of the late Robert and Helen Conerty Warren, he was born on August 19, 1941 in Queens, NY. A Licensed Funeral Director, Tom was owner of Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc. with primary offices in Liberty, NY. Tom was an active community member. He was a member of White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church, where he presently served as Trustee. He was a 45-year member of Ontario Hose Co. #3 Liberty Fire Dept. and a member of Liberty Rotary Club and Liberty Elks Lodge #1545. He was a member of Liberty Lodge #521 F&AM where he was a Past Master, a trustee, served as treasurer and was a former District Deputy Grand Master of the Sullivan District. Tom served as a Sullivan County Coroner for many years and was a Town of Liberty Republican Committeeman for over 25 years. He was active in the Town of Liberty Volunteer Ambulance Corps for many years. He was an antique car enthusiast who owned several antique cars and attended many cars shows. He belonged to the Catskill Region Antique Auto Club of America. Tom was a kind, caring, generous person who always helped where he could. He was a well-respected funeral director who always helped someone in need. He was a loving father to his two children and grandfather to his two granddaughters. He will be missed by us all. Tom leaves behind his fiancé, Kitty Vetter of Willowemoc, NY; his son, Scott T. Warren of Liberty, NY; his daughter, Christine Warren Dwileski and her husband Mark of East Greenbush, NY; his brother, George Warren of Hamburg, PA; his two granddaughters, Grace and Lilah Dwileski of East Greenbush, NY ; his former wife and business partner , Janet Warren and many friends. Friends may call on Thursday February 19, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Liberty Fire House, 256 Sprague Ave. Liberty, NY. Firematic services will be held at 7 PM; Liberty Elks services at 7:15 PM and Masonic services will be at 7:45PM. Funeral services will be on Friday February 20 at 11 AM at the Liberty Fire House where Tom's friend and pastor, Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate. Private burial will be at Liberty Cemetery where Tom will be buried with his parents.
