Obituary of Roswitha L. Schwarz
Roswitha L. "Rose" Schwarz, of Hurleyville, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Achieve Rehab & Nursing. She was 68.
She was the daughter of the late Franz and Katherina Zellner, born on December 6, 1950 in Munich, Germany.
Rose had a plethora of interests, she loved motorcycles, gardening, animals, shopping and yard sales. Some of the fondest memories of Rose were of her entertaining her family and friends for the holidays, she loved her family dearly, but most of all truly loved being a grandmother, they were her life.
She is survived by her children, Heidi Freer (David), Rosemarie (John) and Elisabeth Tobin; her son-in-law Billy Steinberg; her grandchildren Tyler, Kyle and Brandon Wheat, Allyson and Keaton Freer; her brother Frank Zellner; her nephew Frank Zellner, Jr.; great-niece Natasha Zellner as well as her devoted friend Carol Kolarik.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Friday, December 21st at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will be held at 8pm at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Kaufman will officiate. Interment will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
