Obituary of Frank R. Hook

Home: Roanoke, West Virginia USA Place of Birth: Liberty, New York USA The family of Frank Robert "Bob" Hook would like to announce his passing into eternal life on July 20, 2013 at his home in Roanoke, West Virginia, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on July 13, 1943 in Liberty, NY to Frank Hook and Marie Knight Hook. He was 70 years young. He is predeceased by his parents and an infant son, RobertAsa Hook. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Cindy Hillriegel Hook of Roanoke, WV; sons, David Hook and his fiance Sandra Deckelman, Jeremiah "Jeih" Hook and his wife Christy, Chuck Porter and his fiance Erin Roberts, all of Liberty, NY; a daughter, Pamela Hook Yoli and her husband Frank of Liberty, NY; grandchildren, Jessica Bagailuk, Chase, Cody and Carson Hook, Ryan Davis, Ariella, Miranda and Karisa Yoli and Kyle and Ryan Porter; his mother-in-law, Shirley Bagailuk; sisters-in-law, Kathy Capozzoli and her husband, Lou, Terri Pellam and her husband Tim, Kristi Jouben and her husband Mike and Kimberley Mills and several nieces and nephews. A retired NYS Corrections Officer, he worked at Woodbourne Correctional Facility, Sullivan Correctional Facility and Bare Hill Correctional Facility. He served as a reservist in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Drum, NY. In the early 1980's, Bob was a Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop # 95, Liberty, NY. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and is remembered for teaching his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, how to hunt, fish, ride ATV's and repair their cars. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Graveside funeral services will be held at Liberty Cemetery on Friday June 26 at 1 PM. Funeral arrangements are by Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc. Liberty, NY.
