Obituary of Wan Neda Rampe

Home: Liberty, New York USA Place of Birth: Cannonsville, New York USA Obituary Wan Neda "Pete" Rampe Liberty, NY Wan Neda "Pete" Rampe, a longtime resident of Liberty, NY, passed away on Sunday August 17, 2014 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was 94. The daughter of the late Herman and Lessie Finkel Spencer, she was born on March 20, 1920 in Cannonsville, NY. Her husband, Paul Rampe, predeceased her in 1968. Survivors include her three sons, Theodore Rampe (Lee) of Roscoe, NY, Harry Rampe (Susan) of Liberty and Paul Rampe (Precious)of Monticello; her daughter Gretchen Gerow (Lew) of Liberty; nine grandchildren, Tom Rampe (Rose), Charlie Rampe (Cathy), Michelle LeConey (Jim), William Rampe (Dawn), Josh Gerow (Cheryl), Spencer Gerow (Pam) , Danielle Rampe, John Gerow (Kate) and Nicole Rampe and 13 great-grandchildren. Wan Neda was predeceased by a son, Robert Rampe; a daughter, Barbara Rampe; brothers, William Spencer, Thomas Spencer, Harry Spencer; a sister, Lena Spencer Hyzer and a grandson, Keith Rampe. Visiting hours will be today, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5 - 8 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at 11 AM at St. Peter's Cemetery. Liberty, NY. The Rampe family would like to thank the staff at Sullivan County Adult Care Center for their outstanding care given to their mother.
