Obituary of Charles Green

Home: Liberty, New York USA Place of Birth: Monticello, New York USA Charles H. (Butch) Green Liberty, NY Charles H. (Butch) Green, a lifetime Sullivan County resident, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY at the age of 57. He was the son of Charles and Doris Hulse Green and was born on December 28, 1956 in Monticello, NY. Butch was a retired equipment operator for the Town of Liberty highway Department. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Liberty and was a former member of Spruce Tree Hunting Camp. He is survived by his wife, Patti Hasbrouck Green at home; his mother, Doris Green of Liberty; sons, Charles Michael Green of Liberty and Christopher Green and his wife Cathleen of Niskayuna, NY; brother, James Green and his wife Robin of Parksville, NY; sisters, Tami Chanov and her husband Michael of Liberty and Denise Hasting and her husband Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother-in-law, Steve Shelley of Liberty and the loves of his life- his two granddaughters, Madison and Jasmine. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Charles (Pat) Green. Friends may call on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 4- 8 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty. Butch's funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 11:45 AM at St. Peter's Church, 264 N. Main St. Liberty, NY. Monsignor Edward Straub will officiate.
