She was 93. The daughter of the late Frederick and Ada Potter, she was born on July 25, 1919 in Halstedess, England. She was the widow of Samuel Magie who died in 1976. Freda had worked at Anna's Last Knit Shoppe in Monticello, NY. She was a member of Rock Hill United Methodist Church and a former member of Rock Hill Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her son, Stephen Magie and his wife Lois of Rock Hill, NY; three grandchildren, Tina Foster, Tammy Brown and Christopher Magie and five great-grandchildren, Kayla Connolly Dzyre Wilks, Michael, James and Heather Foster.
