Bush Sr., 92, a lifelong Sullivan County resident, died on Saturday April 19, 2014 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. Howard was retired from Teamsters Local #445 in Newburgh, NY. Born on December 23, 1921 in Fosterdale, NY, he was the son of the late George Avery and Ruth Martha Branning Bush. Survivors include his children, Howard Bush Jr. of Fallsburg, NY, Robert Bush and wife Anna of Plant City, FL, Ruth Briggs of Monticello, NY, Rose Marie Russo and husband Edmond of Florida, Marie Leis of Woodbourne, NY, Beverly Bergen and husband John of Forestburgh, NY and Elaine Dugan and husband Robert of Monticello, NY; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Adelia and a half-brother, William Skinner. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY. Graveside Memorial services will be held on Saturday June 7, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello, NY.
