Obituary of Thomas B. Benton

Home: Liberty, New York USA Place of Birth: Liberty, New York USA Thomas B. Benton, 61, and a lifelong Liberty, NY resident, passed away after a long illness on Monday August 25, 2014 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. He was the son of the late William and Grace Benton and was born on September 25, 1952 in Liberty. Thomas was a Probation Officer for Sullivan County. He is survived by his wife, Daisy Benton at home; sons, Mark Anthony Martinez and wife Beverly of Charlotte, NC, Anthony Martinez and Daniel Martinez, both of Monticello and Manuel Martinez of York, PA; brother, Wayne Benton and wife Polly of Florida; sister, Nancy Benton of Liberty; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are on Thursday August 28, 2014 from 2 - 5 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 29 at 11 AM at Ramsay's Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Liberty Cemetery, Cold Spring Rd. Liberty, NY.
