Home: Brownswood, Texas USA Place of Birth: Sullivan County, New York USA Michele "Nicki" Reiter Brownwood, Texas formerly of Loch Sheldrake, NY October 11, 1973 - September 24, 2012 Michele "Nicki" Reiter (Rivera) of Brownwood, TX, formerly of Loch Sheldrake, NY died unexpectedly on September 24, 2012. She was 38. Michele attended Tri-Valley School in Grahamsville, NY until her junior year when she transferred and graduated from Fallsburg High School in Fallsburg, NY. After graduation she moved to Texas and started a family. Michele's two children were the light of her life. She spent as much time as she could with them. Michelle was a true blue NY Giants fan, even in Cowboy country. Michele was a department manager at Home Depot in Brownwood. She loved her job and her Home Depot "family". Michelle had a kind heart and always saw the best in people. She valued her friends and family. Michelle was planning a trip home to New York to reunite with friends and spend time with her family enjoying the fall. Michele is survived by her two beautiful children Ty Jalen Reiter and Alexis Nicole Reiter; her ex-husband and friend Stephen Reiter of Abiline, TX; her beloved mother Kathy Rivera-Jones and stepfather Noel Van Jones of Harris, NY; her father Destino Rivera of Fajardo, PR; her sister Melanny Rivera, of Neversink, NY; her brother Destiny Rivera of New York, NY; her cousin Jan Dijkstra of New York, NY; her paternal grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service was held in Brownwood, TX on October 3, 2012 at Riverside Park. Rev. David Williams officiated. A memorial service will be held in New York Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00am at Friendship Baptist Church, 11 Upper Ferndale Road, Ferndale, NY. Rev. Harry Brown will officiate.
