Obituary of Amanda Paige Whipple

Home: Liberty, New York USA Place of Birth: Harris, New York USA Amanda Paige Whipple Liberty, NY Amanda Paige Whipple, a lifelong resident of Sullivan County, died in Friday September 13, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was 21. The daughter of Janet Whipple, she was born on October 9, 1991 in Harris, NY. She is survived by her loving family, including her loving grandparents, Leanne and Richard Comfort and Pauline and Larry Whipple Jr., son, Mason Avery Koskey, sister Kennedy Linson, Aunt Patty Conklin and family, Aunt Linda Kalman and family, Uncle Larry III and family, Aunt Christina Jones and family and her Godmother, Judy Koch and family. She was predeceased by her loving mother, Janet Whipple and her beloved Uncle Mike Comfort. Amanda was surrounded by many great friends throughout her life and during her long struggle with cancer. Her family would like to thank her doctors, Dr. Taback and his team at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and Dr. Imran Ahmed of White Lake for their kindness and patience. They would also like to thank Catskill Regional Medical Center and Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave to Amanda during her last days. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10 AM at Liberty United Methodist Church. Rev. Robert Kersten and Rev. Kathy and Richard Ienuso will officiate.
