Obituary of Frank B. Johnson

Johnson, a longtime Parksville resident, passed away after a long illness at Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty NY at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Frank and Ida Bernhardt Johnson and was born on November 20, 1927 in New York City. Frank was a design artist at the NY Post Newspaper in New York City. He was the widower of Kathryn Dunn Johnson who died in 2013. He is survived by his sons, Scott Johnson and his wife Eileen of NYC and Glenn Johnson also of NYC; grandchildren, Amy Johnson O'Donoghue and Zoe Johnson; nephews, George and Charles Engstrom and niece Catherine Sorel. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Edith Strawbridge and Cora Engstrom.
