The son the late Archibald and Theresa Finnigan Vail, he was born on March 6, 1959 in Middletown, NY. He is survived by his wife, Jo-Anne Edwards Vail at home; a son, James Henry Osterhaudt of Ellenville, NY; a daughter, Angelina Edwards of New York City; brothers, Harry Shaffer of Warwick, Roger Vail of Pine Bush, Edward Vail and Thomas Francis Vail, both of Middletown; a sister, Marsha Skiff of Napanoch and several nieces and nephews.
