I was privileged that Lee was my Platoon Sergeant in the 1/156 Field Artillery in the mid-1990s. Although we lost touch many years ago, I was saddened to learn of his passing. My memories of my time with Lee and our shared service will always be remembered fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during these tough times. Godspeed FISTer.

I was sorry to learn of Lee’s death. I served with Lee in the New York Army National Guard, Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion 156th Field Artillery stationed in Newburgh NY. Lee was a dedicated soldier and very hard worker. He always was looking out for the men he served with. A real gentlemen and a good friend. He will be sadly missed.
