Obituary of Adam C. Cross

Home: Hurleyville, New York USA Place of Birth: Harris, New York USA Adam Charles Cross Hurleyville, NY March 31, 1983 - November 15, 2012 Adam Charles Cross, 29, of Hurleyville, NY, passed away on Thursday November 15, 2012 at his home. Adam had battled a long illness and is now at peace. He was a Cub Scout with Cub Scout Pack 88 in Fallsburg, NY. Adam graduated from Liberty Central High School in 2001. He received the President's Education Awards Certificate. He studied Culinary Arts at Sullivan County Community College and worked at the Beachcomber, then Center for Discovery, the cafeteria at S.C.C.C. and R.G's as a chef. Adam loved to fish, cook, hanging out with nature, playing scrabble and he was always quick with a smile, a smooch and a hug. He is survived by his beloved mother, Annette Wood and his stepfather Ernest Wood of Hurleyville; his father, Norman C. Cross Jr. of Liberty; his paternal grandfather, Norman Cross Sr. of Liberty; daughter Madison Penelope Cross of Liberty; brother, Kevin Cross and his companion Andrea Hook of Woodridge; niece Kaitlyn Cross and nephews, Evin and Kaleb Cross, all of Woodridge; cousins, Jennifer Domingo and Gianna Jouret and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Adam's life will be held on Tuesday November 20 from 4 - 6 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Services will be at 4:30 PM with Rev. David Coon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Madison Cross at the First National Bank of Jeffersonville. Funeral arrangements are by Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc.
