Joyce Ann Brazilian Haring, a longtime resident of Cochecton, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Catskill Regional Medical Center after a long illness at the age of 74. Born in Elizabeth, NJ on October 12, 1942, she was the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Stevens) Brazilian. Her parents predeceased her as well as her two daughters, Debra Dunn and Susan Haring.
She grew up in Valley Cottage, NY and moved to Sullivan County in 1969. She co-owned and operated the Ruff Cut Restaurant in Cochection, NY for 24 years with her partner, Hank Hudson.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Lori Keegan of Pine Bush, NY; six grandchildren, Joseph Sullivan (Becky), Daniel Sullivan, Robert Dunn (Jolynn), Matthew Dunn, Krista Cartuccio (Jake) and Erin Keegan; seven great-grandchildren; her longtime partner and companion, Henry "Hank" Hudson; sisters, June Dellolio of Wappingers Falls, NY, Carol Sala and Nancy Barone, both of Hollywood, FL and a brother, Bob Brazilian of Shokan, NY.
Friends may call on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be at Ramsay's Funeral Home on Monday January 16 at 11 AM with Rev, Kenneth Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow at Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
