Constantine "Corky" Chanov of Liberty, NY passed away unexpectedly at Catskill Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. He was 52.
The son of Kiprian and Maria Kaplov Chanov, he was born on August 8, 1961 in Suffern, NY.
He graduated from Liberty Central High School, class of 1979. Corky became a volunteer Firefighter in 1979, when he joined the J.C. Young Hose Co #1. On August 1, 1981, Corky married his high school sweetheart, soul mate, and best friend Robin DeGraw in Woodbourne, NY. They had three beautiful girls, Jamie, Christy, and Corie.
