Mr. NIckou was a classic, and a legend at Liberty High School. Class of 1979 just had its 40th reunion, and there was much talk and remembrance of Mr. NIckou. We all had a great story about how he influenced us, inspired us, and taught us all more than just biology. Rest in peace. The world is less than it was now that you are gone, but we will never forget the time we spent together.

We have so many wonderful memories of having Mr. Nickou as a Biology teacher. He was truly dedicated to his students and made learning a challenging subject interesting and enjoyable! We loved going to bio lab!
We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. It seems that the many happy memories are what will bring comfort and solace in the days to come.

The Nickou Family is in my thoughts ~ I believe my own father, Charles "Fred" Sherwood, will have been near the start of the heavenly receiving line when your father (grandfather) arrived. Dad had a great deal of admiration & respect for Mr Nickou. I have inherited 3 paintings gifted to my parents ~ all of covered bridges familiar to the area. I didn't realize our fathers shared a dedication to the US Military through the US Navy. Surely another reason my father held Mr Nickou in such high regard. May there be more smiles than tears as you recall a life well lived ~ Tracey
