Obituary of Scott Frederick Carman
Scott Frederick Carman, of Parksville, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 51.
He was the son of the late John W. Carman and Jean Doris Neumann-Carman, he was born on August 22, 1966 in Callicoon, NY.
Scott recently worked for New Hope Community as a DSP and had previously worked as an auto mechanic for M & M Auto for 20 years. He enjoyed working with his hands, fixing up cars and spending his time riding dirt bikes or fishing. He was a loving companion, father and friend to all who knew him, he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his companion, Josie Cross of Liberty; his son: Christopher Carman of Loch Sheldrake; stepchildren: Michael Bell, Andrew Cross and Kristina Millis all of Liberty; and his siblings Mark Carman and his wife Kathleen of Parksville, Wayne Carman and his significant other Laura Quigley of North Branch and Sherri Kavleski and her husband Paul Sr. of Liberty; a special sister-in-law Bonnie Carman of Albany; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Penny Lynn Blume.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9pm on Thursday, February 8th at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, February 9th at the funeral home. Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate. Burial will follow at Callicoon Center Cemetery.
