She was the daughter of the late Hugh McGee and Anna Oleske McGee and was born on December 6, 1937. Dorothea was a member of St. George's Church in Jeffersonville, NY. Before moving to Bethel, she lived in New Jersey where she was a social worker for Passaic County Social Services. She leaves behind a brother, Dr. Hugh McGee of Bethel; a sister, Mary Wallach of Loch Sheldrake, NY; a niece, Melinda (Gary) Wallach-Zellweger of Hurleyville, NY; nephews, Edward McGee (Kathy) of Delancy, NY, Kevin McGee of Newton, NJ, Austin Prentiss of Bethel, NY and Christopher (Karla) Wallach of Kew Gardens, NY. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 9, 2017 at Noon at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Fr. Vu of St. George's Church will officiate.
