Obituary of Henry L. Knight

Knight Sr. Monticello, NY Henry Knight Sr., a longtime Monticello Resident, passed away on Saturday October 21, 2017 at the Skilled Nursing Unit at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. He was 84. The son of the late Edward and Annie Ree Knight, he was born on September 28, 1933 in Camilla, GA. Henry had worked at the Concord Hotel in Kiamesha Lake, NY. He is survived by his wife, Annie Knight of Hurleyville, NY; his son, Henry L. Knight Jr. (Donna) of Monticello; daughters, Janette Knight of Bronx, NY and Patricia Ann Knight of Queens, NY; godson, Anthony McKinney (Janeen) of Monticello; brothers, Robert Knight (Dorothy), Johnny Lee Knight (Catherine) and McArthur Knight (Toi-Sherrie), all of Georgia; sisters, Katie Isom (Roderick), Carrie Taylor and Lillie Pate (Leonard), all of Georgia; grandchildren, Nicole, Marquis, Christopher, Devin, Derek, Dominic, Dion, Noelanti and Giana, two great-grandchildren, Reese and Rocco Schumacher and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Melvin Knight; a daughter, Crystal Knight; sister, Johnnie Mae Fisher and brothers, Eddie Knight Jr. and Forrest Knight. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 25 from 10 - 11 AM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 55 St. John St. Monticello, NY. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 AM with Pastor Dr. Harry Brown Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Hurleyville Cemetery in Hurleyville, NY.
