I am Stephen's daughter from his time married to Linda Simpson. I never really got to know my biological father very well but I did get the chance to talk to him once before he died thanks to my half sister. He came across as a warm and welcoming person. I wish I had gotten the opportunity to meet him in person, not just on the phone. Anyone in his family that would like to get to know me I am open to it. I would like to know more about his life after he and my mother divorced. I send my deepest condolences to all the people in his life that loved him.

I am Steve's cousin, in that his step-mom was Rose Conklin, 2nd wife of Rudy. These were my aunt and uncle. I remember Steven as a kid, growing up around our grand parent's home in Suffern NY. He was also frequently at our family's home in Mahwah. There are several other cousin's in the area, and some of us will make every effort to be at the service, especially in that Steve is a fellow Vet.

We bought our house from Steve in upstate ny, spent a lot of holidays with him and his wife ! What a kind hearted man always treated my parents with a lot of respect and neVer said no , no matter what my father asked for! He will be missed heaVy ,May you Rest In Peace ! ✝️

Stephen Robert Conklin was my biological father who I never got the chance to know. I would have liked to have talked to him before he passed away so I could let him know that I forgave him a long time ago. It sounds like he turned into a good person and I'd love to know more about him. For those of you who knew him well and will miss him-my sympathies are with you.

I will miss my father more than i can express right now. I will miss his sense of humor most of all, he had an odd way of making me laugh. I will miss your stories of days gone by old man. Tell mommy hi for me.. "See you on the flip side" I love you.

I didn't really know my Father very well, but in his later years we did talk some. He seemed to be a decent man and I wish I had gotten the opportunity to know him better. I thank him for the gift of life, and I'll see him on the other side.
