I met my Brother-in-Law John in the Summer of '65', when I was only 11yrs old; I came to Monticello, NY to visit my sister, Erma Hudson, for the Summer. I loved John from the moment I met him; he was always saying something funny, and he was a definitely a lot of fun! He pretty much let me have what I wanted and did what I wanted to do, as long as I wasn't in any danger of getting hurt, or hurting anyone else! My sister, Erma, would have me halfway on lockdown because she knew, that if anything happened to my daddy's baby(me)she would have to answer to him! I loved hanging out with him, and often had to tell him, "You don't have to buy me anything else, You've spent enough money on me!" These are the childhood memories etched in my mind, and he remembered those memories too! As adults we talked on the phone about those times after he and Erma move to the Metropolis of Atlanta, Georgia(Lawerenceville). I will miss him saying, "Hey Dean," because of the way he said 'Hey' with my name, I knew that he was about to say something that would be so craaaazy and funny, until I had already prepared to laugh!!! Gone but never forgotten.
