Obituary of Joan Yeomans

Home: Swan Lake, New York USA Place of Birth: Swan Lake, New York USA Obituary Joan Yeoman's Swan Lake, NY Joan Yeoman's, a lifetime area resident, passed away on Saturday April 16, 2016 at Catskill Regional Medical Center-Skilled Nursing Unit. She was 81. Joan was the daughter of the late William and Mildred Bolin Soule and was born on March 30, 1935 in Swan Lake, NY. She was a member of Community Methodist Churches of Bethel and was a member of the Bethelites. She enjoyed gardening and as an avid craftsperson, she knit lap robes for US Veterans. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be missed by all her family and friends. Survivors include sons, Richard David Yeomans and his wife Vicki of Austell, GA and Ladd Lance Yeomans of Swan Lake, NY; daughters, Jill Colleen Dawson and her husband Retired Lt. Colonel Augustus Riley Dawson III of Buena Vista, VA and Carrie Marie Rhodes of Cedartown, GA; a sister, Anna Marie Deppa of Swan Lake, NY; grandchildren, Rick, Christopher, Cara, Ashley, Ladd Jr., Augustus IV, Matthew, Elizabeth, Hunter and Houston and great-grandchildren, Riley, Kennedy and Cal. Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Yeomans, in 2012. As per Joan's wishes, she was cremated at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY and a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Isaiah 40:31.
