Obituary of Emily H. Abplanalp

Home: Swan Lake, New York USA Place of Birth: New York, New York USA Emily H. Abplanalp a lifetime area resident, passed away on Thursday January 10, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 93 years of age. Mrs. Abplanalp was born on September 29, 1919 to the late Lorenz and Katherine Blaha Hyncik in New York City. She was the widow of Clifford Abplanalp. She proudly served as a civilian Air Force spotter during WWII. Survivors include her daughter, Vivian Hanslmaier of Swan Lake and two grandchildren, Ryan Hanslmaier and Lori Gradwohl along with one great-granddaughter, Emily. Visitation will take place on Sunday January 13, 2013 from 4to 6 PM and on Monday January 14, 2013 from Noon to 2 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 South Main Street, Liberty, New York. Funeral services will be held on Monday January, 14, 2013 at 2 PM at the Funeral home with Ginny Bossley officiating. Burial will immediately follow the services at Old Jeffersonville Presbyterian Cemetery in Jeffersonville, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the White Sulphur Springs Fire Dept.
