Obituary of Debra A Edwards

Debra Ann Edwards, of Liberty, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 56.

She was the daughter of the late John R. Spangler and Ella Mae Brown, born on October 6, 1961 in Carlisle, PA.

Debra enjoyed spending her days outside fishing, doing puzzles and crosswords, playing cards or bingo. And she had a passion for animals. But at the top of her list, what she enjoyed most was being a mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

She is survived by her companion Ed Schrader; her children Stacey Vogel-Spangler, Richard Vogel, Chad Vogel, Amanda Vogel, Stephanie Vogel, Heather Whitted, Christina Dutkiewicz, Michelle Edwards, Michael Edwards Jr., and Richard Vogel; and her stepdaughter Brittany Schrader; her 20 grandchildren; and her brother Tom Weaver. She is predeceased by her daughter Angel R. Spangler and one brother Robert Weaver.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm on Saturday, February 3^rd at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will follow at 2pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
