McBride, of Monticello, / passed away on Wednesday March 25, 2015 at Ellen Memorial Nursing Home in Honesdale, PA. She was 92 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Adelia Shaffer Coney and was born on April 22, 1922 in Elk Brook, NY. She was a longtime resident of Monticello before moving to Honesdale to be with her daughter and son-in-law. Helen had been a Past President of the Ruddick-Trowbridge American Legion Post Ladies Auxiliary in Monticello, NY. Survivors include her son, Gary McBride and his wife Bonnie of Cochecton, NY; her daughter, Beverly Gilson and her husband Steven of Honesdale, PA; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren ; several great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Sylvester McBride in 1996 and by two sons, Sylvester McBride and Anthony McBride. Friends may call on Saturday March 28 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 55 St. John St. Monticello, NY. Funeral services will take place at Ramsay's Funeral Home at 1 PM with Rev. Kenneth Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sparrowbush, NY.
