Henry A. Lippelt, a lifetime Liberty resident, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the home of his daughter. His loving family was with him at the time of his passing. Henry was 84. He was the son of the late Albert and Myrtle Briggs Lippelt and was born on July 5, 1931 in Liberty.
He was a self-employed carpenter and a Korean Army Veteran, serving his country from 1952 to 1954. He was a member of Clarence Hoyt VYW Post 9217.
Survivors include his son, Albert Lippelt of Cumberland, RI; daughters, Lynn Winters (Richard) of Liberty and Deborah Durso (Raymond) of Utica, NY; his sister, Myrtle Salonich of South Carolina; grandchildren, Richard Winters Jr. of Liberty, Christopher Winters of Sewell, NJ, John Durso, Raymond Durso and Lynn Durso, all of Utica, NY, Michael Durso of Syracuse and Susan Durso of Ogden, MD and five great-grandchildren, Cody, Evan, Daniel, Lexi, and Eanna. He was predeceased by a son, Henry Lippelt Jr., brothers, Sonny, Clarence, Raymond and John and sisters, Hilda Menshen, Bertha Reimsnider and Caroline Bertholf.
Graveside Memorial services and Military Services will be on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 3:30 PM at Liberty Cemetery in the Veterans Section. Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.
