Dale was the son of Tina Wells Tompkins and was born on May 3, 1985 in Harris, NY. Dale worked for Tire Discount in Monticello, NY. He was a member of the Liberty Free Methodist Church in Liberty, NY. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Tina and Jack Tompkins; brothers, Alan Smith of Hancock, NY, Trevor Tompkins and wife Elizabeth of Camp LeJune, NC, Brandon Tompkins of Loch Sheldrake, NY and Anthony Cox of Liberty, NY; sisters, Cassondra Garcia and husband Toribio of Ellsworth AFB, SD and Krista Nash of Liberty, NY; nieces, Zalaina and Peyton; nephews, Christian and Daniel and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call on Friday September 21, 2012 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Liberty Free Methodist Church, Rt 52, Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM at the church with Rev. Richard Devendorf officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.
