Anthony Frolio of Smallwood passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at home with his loving family by his side. He was 66.
He as the son of the late Anthony and Mary Doerbecker Frolio, born on April 4, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY.
In 1986 Anthony relocated with his family from Brooklyn to Smallwood. While he was in Brooklyn he was a volunteer firefighter which he loved. After moving upstate he worked for Coca-Cola as a forklift operator for many years. He was an avid collector of classic movies and had a sense of humor that will be fondly remembered. He always knew how to lighten up the room and his gentle smile and loving touch will be deeply remembered.
He is survived by his devoted wife Alice Frolio, his children Sharon D. Cyphers and her husband Scott, Anthony J. Frolio and his wife Jessica, his grandchildren Marissa, Dylan, and Ryan Frolio, his sibling Michael Frolio of Small Wood, Mary Ann Kennedy of Glendale, NY, Loretta VanLoan of Kauneonga Lake, Patricia Finelli and her husband John of Middlevillage, Ruth Rusin and her husband Adam of Brooklyn, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was predeceased by his sibling Joey, Paulie, Rosanna Frolio and Carol A. Vovchik.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 31, 2015 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne NY 12788 from 2-4:00pm and 6-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the White Lake Presbyterian Church 6 Mattison Road, White Lake, NY 12786 at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel, NY.
