Gerard M. Holloran of Grahamsville passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at home with his loving family by his side. He was 74.
He was the son of the late Martin and Elizabeth Greene Holloran born on March 11, 1941 in Whitestone, NY.
Gerard proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1962-1964. For many years he worked at Hudson Valley Resort and Spa. He was a member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge # 1971. He would often enjoy hunting and gardening particularly his fruit trees. Gerard liked doing contracting on the side and truly had a love for animals and nature. However, above everything else he loved spending time with his family; especially his pride and joy his grandson, Zachary. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Holloran, Sarah Miller (David), grandson Zachary, siblings Loretta Rainey, Jerome Holloran, Thomas Holloran (Jane), Elizabeth Toma and Mary Godfrey (Dr. Norman) and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Martin Holloran and his sister, Laurine Padich.
