Ted Connolly
February 8, 1927 – January 7, 2016
Ted Connolly, of Grahamsville, a retired engineer and real estate manager and broker, and longtime resident of the area died on January 7, 2016 at Catskill Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. He was 88.
He was the son of the late W.W. and Madge Connolly, born on February 8, 1927 in Raymondville, MO.
Ted proudly served our country during the Korean War in the Navy and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was past-president and lifetime member and board member of the New York Building Managers Association.
Ted was predeceased by Meta Connolly, his wife of 58 years. He is survived by his daughter Christine Connolly-Foley of Merrick, N.Y.; his sons Patrick and his wife, Sherri, of Florida, and Charles and his wife Tina of Grahamsville; his grandchildren: Matthew, Dennis, Sara and her husband Chris, Shanna and her husband Will, Shane, James and his wife Kayla, and Jason; and his great grandchildren August and Gwendolyn.
He came from a family of eleven children, he is predeceased by sisters: Geneva, Mary, and Martha; his brothers Frank, David, Jake, Mack, and Billy Joe. Ted is survived by a sister, Jennie-Ruth Schmidt and her husband Russ of Missouri; his brother Harry Connolly and his wife Pat of Oklahoma; and a sister-in-law Genevieve Connolly of Utah; as well as countless nieces and nephews.
Our family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Sullivan County Adult Care Center and Catskill Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 4-7pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 5pm at the funeral home. Pastor Brenda Cates officiating. Cremation and burial will take place at the Allen Cemetery in Raymondville, MO at a later date.
