Walter F. Cypert, 91, of Woodbourne left this world to join his wife, Pearl, in heaven on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Walter was born on March 20, 1924 to Anthony and Myrtle Kracht Cypert. He will be dearly missed.
He married the love of his life, Pearl Green, on September 14, 1947 and lived in the house they built sixty-nine years ago. They had three daughters, who will miss him dearly. He lived to enjoy of seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He made many friends working in the community. He enjoyed working with and restoring antique machines and tools which he later donated to the Grahamsville Time and The Valleys museum.
He leaves behind his three daughters: Linda Manzolillo (Tom), Mary Lou Jewett (Cliff), and Ruth Dixon (Eric). Seven grand-children: Cherie, Jack, Scott (Erin), Kevin (Hollie), Alex (Cindy), Erin (Derek), Rachel, and Tyler. Eight great grand-children: Justin, Jacob, Brody, Dylan, Ella, Kylie, Emma Pearl, and Desmond. His sister Thelma Misko and many nieces and nephews. Walt joins in heaven his loving wife Pearl. His brothers: Paul and David. And his sisters Mary Mentnech and Rita Hotchkin.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, from 5 to 8 pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne NY 12788. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March, 10, 2016 at 10:30am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Woodbourne. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Woodbourne.
