Bruce J. Lynch Jr., of Loch Sheldrake passed away July 8, 2015 at home surrounded by his family, he was 50 years old. Bruce was born July 2, 1965 in Newburgh, NY to Bruce J. Lynch Sr. and Barbara Taylor MacGhee. Bruce was a steel worker in the local 806 Structural Steel and Bridge Painters Union, he took pride in all of the bridges he worked on, such as The Golden Gate Bridge, The George Washington Bridge, and The Rainbow Bridge just to name a few. He was an avid golfer, skier, and enjoyed snowmobiling. Bruce married the love of his life Mary on September 18, 1999 in New York City. Bruce leaves behind his wife Mary Bell-Lynch, his children Justin Fancher and fiancé' Jaymi McNutt of White Sulphur Springs, NY, Deborah Donato and her husband Robert of Monticello, and Bruce J. Lynch III AKA (Sonny) of Loch Sheldrake, grandchildren Giada Donato, Brennan Fancher, and Robert Donato Jr., his mother Barbara MacGhee of Loch Sheldrake, brothers Dion Lynch, Dean MacGhee, and Allen MacGhee also a brother-in law whom he helped raise as a son Mark Bell and wife Nerada of Loch Sheldrake along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his father Bruce Lynch Sr., sisters Deborah Lynch McCarvel and Margie Lynch Kikianis-Phelps, his stepfather Rev. Allen MacGhee and a sister-in law Terri Meloni-Bell. A family statement read; Bruce was one of a kind, he would help anyone in need, he was the a great husband, father, grandfather and son. The world needs more people with his work and family ethics and generosity. We will love and miss you always. Visitation will be on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the funeral home at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123-1718.
