Obituary of Anthony Leo Davis

Anthony "Tony" Davis, a life-long resident of Fallsburg, NY departed from life on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. He was 57. Tony was born in Monticello, NY to Leo and Elaine Davis on August 18, 1959. Growing up as a known student-athlete within the Fallsburg School district, Tony later became a carpenter for the Local 55. He served various cities building and repairing infrastructure for the Tri-State area. Tony was an avid sports fan which lead him to many years of mentoring and coaching numerous youth sports teams in Sullivan County. Tony Davis was a wonderful and much-loved father,son,brother, grandfather and cherished friend. Within precious memories he leaves his father, Leo Davis; younger brother, Sean Davis; two sons, Ryan Davis, Colin Davis; one daughter, Faye Davis; 5 grandchildren, Alan Schrier, Ryelle Davis, Javeah Reynolds, and Zion Davis; one niece and one nephew, Jasmine Davis and Traven Davis, respectively; and predeceased by Elaine Davis, Andrew Schrier, and Adam Davis. Tony loved his family, coaching, mentoring, and just being the right person to lighten up your day. The service for Anthony "Tony" Davis will be held Saturday, March 4th at the First Baptist Church in South Fallsburg, NY. The viewing will be from 11 AM to 12 PM, followed by the service directly after. All who knew or would like to come pay their final respects are invited to do so.
