William G. Krupp, lifetime resident of Livingston Manor, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at home. He was 68.
He was the son of the late Emerson E. Krupp and Edith Lena Lare, born on April 17, 1947 in Livingston Manor, NY.
William proudly served our country in the US Air Force from 1967 until 1971, after which he continued his career as a personnel clerk until he started work as a plumber. William was a very well read person, he enjoyed writing, in particular writing poetry, and you could very often find him with his nose in a good book. He enjoyed experiencing different cultures not only in his reading but also in person, he was known to be a world traveler. He was a devoted husband, step-father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he will be deeply missed.
He will be remembered fondly by his devoted wife JoAnn C. Krupp; his brothers Fred Krupp and his wife Marion of Pennsylvania, John Krupp and his wife Lorraine of Livingston Manor and James Krupp and his wife Susan of Livingston Manor; his step-children: Joseph Maloney and Rene Carlson; 4 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins; his best friend Mike Schwartz of Middletown; and his aunt Pat Johnson and her husband Louis of Long Island.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 4 to 6pm at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A military service will follow visitation at the funeral home.
