Gail, I am so sorry to hear about Esther. She was a great friend to my mom and Aunt Clara. I remember her tearing up the DeBruce Road on her scooter to visit Clara. She was also great with a paint brush and wallpaper (she had that long reach). She was warm and generous and FUNNY with her quick wit. She always had me in tears of laughter. Aunt Clara has so many stories of their antics as young girls. Please know that I am thinking of you. It's tough to lose your mother and best friend. I will raise a glass in her honor tonight.
