Joan Murial Robinson November 25, 1940 – February 5, 2016 Livingston Manor, NY Joan Murial McGar Robinson, of Livingston Manor, NY died Friday, February 5, 2016 in Roscoe, NY. She was 75. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Mabel Slawson McGar, born on November 25, 1940 in Livingston Manor, NY. Joan was well loved by her family and friends throughout her life in Livingston Manor. She was an active member of her community by being involved in the Order of the Eastern Star and also participating in the local political arena. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Daniel Eric Robinson of Bluffton, SC; her brother Fred McGar (Ann) of Livingston Manor; her brother-in-law Richard Gartland of White Sulphur Springs; nieces Marcy, Karen, Glenda and Cleta; and nephews Johnny and Jimmy. She was predeceased by her son Robert Daniel Robinson and siblings Leon “Bub” McGar and Virginia Gartland. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 2 to 4pm at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 4pm at the funeral home.
