My condolences to Evelyn’s family.
I met her at the Edgewood Inn when I went up to visit in the mid 1970’s with my father-in-law, Jerry Beigel. What great stories We’re told of Alex and Jerry blowing up stumps to clear the property. The marvelous fresh baked mini Danish pastries (which I still talk about) and smoked fish for breakfast.
I had called and spoken to Evelyn just a few years ago to inquire how she was and talk about her friends I had met while visiting. May her memory be a blessing.

Our mom’s were friends for so many years. Heartfelt condolences to your entire family. Two years ago today my mom passed away. Jean and Evelyn are together again and won’t have to worry about hearing each other any more! This photo was from 1989 in Toledo, Ohio.
