I am thankful to have known Courtney for even a short time. I will miss getting to him and his wonderful family, sharing our farming stories and memories of Jamaica. I realize that nothing I say can ease your pain, but please know that I am thinking of you and pray for your healing. Uncle Tony, you were the husband of my aunt who was like a mother to me and from the first time we met you welcomed me as a son . We didn’t always see eye to eye but yet still we never once had an argument . You were kind hearted , jovial and had an answer for everything . I will miss you Uncle Tony. “You know me now”? Is the question that we would ask each other when we visited or called . Uncle T , as I affectionately called you , I can truly say I am happy to have known you . You spoke what was on your mind regardless and I will miss that as much as I will miss you . May your soul rest in eternal peace.
