Dear Scherpf family. I’m not sure if I have the right Donald Scherpf online memorial site, but if he was an investigator with the New York State police at troop K in Dutchess county during the 1970s, then I believe I have the right individual. He played a huge role in the conviction of my mother’s murderer in 1975, which I just found out. Had I known before 2020, I would’ve liked to have thanked him in person myself. If I don’t have the right person, please accept my sincere apologies and deepest condolences for your loss. I hope and pray that Donald did not suffer and had a natural death. Kind and warm regards,
