Lillian and her family were neighbors of my family at the bungalow colony. I remember her as always being nice to me. Several times, I would come over for lunch and she'd make me and her daughter, Kimmy, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Both families during the summer would always chat under our tree. The friendship also continued throughout the year, during the holidays.
