My most sincere and deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Evg Margaret Herring was one of my mom's closes, best friends as well as sisters in Christ.
I remember when we was small(youngsters) our parents(Evg Margaret, Evg Ann Sanabria and my mom, Evg Lucy Mae Hinton) decided to go to night school, as kids we got a kick out of that and said that they wouldn't last, but God proved us wrong. Those three did everything together, and their hats was ALWAYS outstanding.
Evg Margaret and her sister, was ALWAYS there for us Hinton kids, we knew that if we was caught doing something we had no business doing, we was getting corrected straight from them lol, and then from mommy.
I loved her cooking, everytime we went to King's Chapel, we knew we was eating good. Evg Herring had this shout that if you didn't feel the spirit from her shout, you was literally"not into the service". She always made it personal with God, such an amazing woman.
She lived her life, wonderfully, and you could see how much she was in love with Jesus.
I didn't see her much after a while, but one day not too long ago, I seen her and Wanda in the dr office and she recognized me immediately, always spoke of how proud she was of her children, and always ended our visits by saying, "stay in the church baby, you know that's what Evg Hinton always wanted " then she would ask "how's sis Whittington doing" .
She was a living testimony of "taking God everywhere she went" .

Grandma
The words you spoke so wisely
Have never been so clear.
All the lessons that you taught me
Still remain right here.
I am left here wishing
To hear your voice one last time, “Is That You Sharon”
Once more to hear you sing
Victory Is Mine .
You told me it would be all right,
But I feel that isn’t true.
The only thing to make this better
Is if I was there with you. But you have a piece of my heart there that greeted you, your Great Grandson Yerik.
I know you’re now not suffering,
But I hated to see you go.
Just to have you back one more time,
Just to have you in your chair.
I’d give a million dollars,
To read one last poem you wrote with you.
I know the pain will slowly leave,
And your memories will stay with special tree that will be planted in your name.
Your time with us was special,
And it is often replayed.
My sunshine was taken once again.
Oh, the things that I would give
For only one more day.
You were more than just a Grandma,
You were my best friend that can sit with each day eat fried fish with while sending dad out to get it for us lol.
But I’ll still love you ’til the end.

Mom Herring I love you and I know that you are resting in the arms of Jesus. You will be so missed. I will miss talking about the Young and Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful with you. I will miss you telling me how much you love your jean skirt. I will miss your favorite sayings like "my lawd" and the way you answer the phone "hella" and the way you say "Im eating my cheerios", and the way you say "Ranch Allen" aka Rance Allen, who's now in Glory with you and the way you laugh when Kervin is cutting up. The way you say "love you both" then bye. Well we know it's not goodbye, but it's I will see you later. Rest on mom and tell my daddy I said "hey papa dollah".

Sending our heartfelt condolences to your family during this very sad time. Mrs. Herring was such a kind person and it had to be because she had a deep love and respect for God's Word. With each new day may God give the comfort and strength needed to cope. She touched many lives and will be missed.

I love you so much Mom and I miss you so much it hurts. Thank you for being such a wonderful Mother and for raising me to be the woman that I am today. Thank you for loving and living for the Lord so that we could see it and follow in your footsteps. You taught us how to live for the Lord and keep Him first. I am so grateful for the Lord giving you to us as the most beautiful and loving Mother in the world. You let your Light shine so we and others could see it and desire to serve the Lord. So many souls saw that Light in you. We will forever be grateful and thankful. You are with the Lord now for He loved you best. I will forever miss you until we meet again. Thank you for being my Mother, the most Beautiful woman in the world. Love You Mom, Wanda.
