Ryan Melvin Coker, born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 16, 1981 passed away suddenly due to medical complications on January 18, 2021. He was 39 years old.
He is predeceased by his mother Phyllis Prince, his father Earnest Coker, his maternal grandmother Willie Garner, his sister Wendy Coker and his uncle John Manley.
He is survived by his daughter Kyla Coker, sister Rebecca Valentine, stepmother Virginia Coker, stepfather Roger Prince, his best friend Jason McAllister, his daughter's mother Melanie Baggatta, his friend and caregiver George Baggatta, as well as Amy and Kailey Coney and his aunt Karen Manley.
Ryan aka "Rhino" as he was known by friends as full of life and was very humble. He lived his life to the fullest and lived by his own rules. Anyone who knew him could see how kindhearted he was and he would give you the shirt off his back without asking for anything in return. He loved Superman and lived his life as such…free spirited.
Ryan is being cremated and brought back to Alabama.
In lieu of services or flowers we ask that you please donate to the gofundme page that has been set up for the care of his daughter Kyla. Gofund.me/3d874823
