Viola German, age 58, went with God on January 30, 2021.
She was born in Manhattan, NY on May 20, 1962 to Charles Harris and Lorraine Jackson.
Viola shared eight loving years of marriage to Jeno German, Sr. but had over thirty years together. she had four children; Monique Ivory, Johnny Scott, Shalyn Harris and Jeno German, Jr. as well as two adopted daughters Ashley Wyatt and Joy Dryden. She enjoyed many nights of karaoke, chess and backgammon. She loved the satisfaction of winning, she had seven siblings, Charles Lambert, Jr., Lorriane Jones, Calvin Harris, Bobby Harris, Danielle and Windel Lambert; she leaves behind ten grandchildren, Ashakira, Devyn, Jacquie, Johnny, Mikaeel, Elijaah, Starriah, Tyarah, ace, Zadden and Kyrie.
She was filled with so much love, kindness but knew when to be serious but those grandkids had her wrapped around their fingers. She had tons of nieces and nephews, she had three best friends, Jodi Riveria, Sylvia Perez and Bert Hodges. Lorriane Jones and Theide Lambert were her closest sisters. They would talk for hours, sometimes till the next day.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A celebration of life in Mrs. Viola German's name will be held at the funeral home immediately following the visitation. Guidelines set forth by the State of New York will be followed, masks and social distancing are required at all times.
