Obituary of Harry Michael McIntosh

Harry M. McIntosh of Hudson, Florida formerly of Liberty passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2021, he was 71 years old.
He was the son of the late Dwight McIntosh and Ida Wells, born on July 22, 1949 in Liberty, New York.
He graduated from Tri-Valley High School and joined the United States Army thereafter. Serving his country in Vietnam in food services for the 14th Aviation Helicopter Unit. Harry then worked 30 years for New York Dept. of Corrections Food Service as Head Cook. He was a member of the VFW and worked up in ranks to be membership chairman for the State of NY. After retiring to FL he joined the Toy Makers of New Port Richey to build and paint over 3000 wooden toys. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and being with his family.
He is survived by his wife Glenda, son James and daughters, Lorrie, Tammy and Keri, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and brothers Dwight, Lenny, Tim and sister Margaret.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 from 12-2pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788. Interment will follow at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY with full military honors. Guidelines set forth by the State of New York will be followed, masks and social distancing are required at all times.
