Roger D. Ballard, of Livingston Manor, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. He was 80. He was the son of the late Charles Ballard and Irene (Edwards) Ballard, born on May 16, 1941 in Ringwood, NJ. Roger proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1965 to 1975. He then went on to work as Assistant Foreman for the State of New Jersey Parks Department. He is survived by his son Chris Wyatt and his adopted family and many close friends. Roger is predeceased by his siblings Charles and Kenneth Ballard, Betty Day, Cindy Jenkens and Debby Ballard; and nephew Christopher Pekny. A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A funeral service will be held at 3:30pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
