Obituary of Patricia A. Severing

Patricia A. Severing, of Livingston Manor, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021. She was 84.

She was the daughter of the late George Hartling and Ursula Roirdan Hartling, born on March 5, 1937 in Queens, NY.

Patricia worked as a secretary for the Livingston Manor Central School District. In her free time she donated her time as a member of the Livingston Manor Ambulance Corp as well as a communicant at St. Aloysius Church in Livingston Manor. She enjoyed traveling as well as passing time at casinos, trying her luck at a few games. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

She is survived by her children James G. "Jim" Severing and his wife Lenore, Patrick Severing and his significant other Teri Lewis, Kathleen Lewis and her husband Gregory Lewis, and Maureen Stewart and her husband George; her grandchildren Edward McGillicudy (Michelle), Elisabeth Boylan (Steve), Lauren and Kaitlin Severing, Patrick, Jr, Micheline Parente (Nick), Paige and Samantha Severing, Mandy Gaston (Stacey), Nicole Shiels (Matt), Carrie Lewis, Shane Raymond Lewis, and Abby DeFreitas (Steve). She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Brooke Severing, Anastasia Williams-Cunningham, Caiden, Leah and Conner Boylan, Giavella Parente, Adele Kathleen Drown, Reagan Marie and Lincoln James Shiels, Michael Nelson Misner, III, Raelee Ann Misner, and Zoey and Noah DeFreitas; and brother-in-law Walt Wolcott and sister-in-law Pat Hartling.

Patricia joins in Heaven her husband James Severing; her grandson Bryan Stewart; brothers Richard "Rock" Hartling and Daniel Hartling, sister Mary Louise Wolcott and sister-in-law Kate Hartling.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm TODAY, June 15, 2021 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 16th at 1pm at St. Aloysius Church, Livingston Manor, NY. Burial to follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
